Which domestic brand of Pacific white shrimp feed is currently the best in China?
Which company currently makes the best Pacific white shrimp feed in China?
I've been wanting to raise some Pacific white shrimp recently, but I don't know which company's shrimp feed to choose. There really are too many brands. Everyone, please give me some advice. Thanks!

There is no absolute good or bad when it comes to shrimp feed. Some shrimp feeds need to suit the local conditions, and it also depends on your stocking density and farming environment. For shrimp feed in the south, Guangdong Hengxing Feed should be pretty good. I'm mainly in the north, and there are Tangshan Zhongtianqin, Yantai Dale, Qingdao Tongyi, Qingdao CP, Tianjin Tongwei, etc.
---------------------
I heard Yuehai's feed is very good. What do you think?
---------------------
For shrimp feed, choose large manufacturers as much as possible.
Hengxing and Yuehai are both good.
---------------------
There is no best, only better. There is no absolute good, only relative bad.
---------------------
East China seems not to rank? That's impossible, right? The quality of feed depends on one part processing and one part formula. Yuehai's processing and formula technology are both very mature, backed by several PhDs and master's degree holders.
---------------------
CP's should be the best.
---------------------
In the south, CP, Yuehai, and Hailong are all good; Hengxing's market has shrunk quite a bit.
---------------------
Haida is also very good!

I. Causes
There are many factors that cause soft-shell disease in Pacific white shrimp, and the main factors may be the following:
1. Long-term insufficient feeding, leaving the shrimp in a starving state.
2. Unbalanced feed nutrition ratio, with an inappropriate calcium-to-phosphorus ratio. Many farmers use land as feed, and such feed often fails to meet the requirements.
3. Feeding spoiled and deteriorated feed.
4. The content of dissolved phosphorus in the pond water decreases, and the shrimp's phosphorus intake is insufficient, while phosphorus is a major element in the formation and calcification process of the shrimp shell.
5. Too high a farming density, a harsh farming environment, and deteriorated water quality lead to softening of the shrimp shell, and in severe cases complications with other diseases, forming an outbreak.
6. The water contains organotin or organophosphorus insecticides, which inhibit the synthesis of chitin in the shrimp shell.
7. Improper medication or sudden changes in water quality cause stress to the shrimp, resulting in abnormal molting, and it is very difficult for the shrimp to return to a normal state in a short time.
II. Prevention and Control
Softening of the shrimp shell often leads to infection and outbreaks. In addition, when harvesting shrimp, soft-shell shrimp die easily out of water, causing a decrease in transport survival rate. Therefore, during the farming process, the proportion of soft-shell shrimp should be minimized as much as possible.
Main methods:
1. Maintain good water quality and substrate quality, and create a good farming environment.
2. Strictly control the calcium-to-phosphorus ratio in the water, keep the pH value between 7.8 and 8.6, and prevent ammonia nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen from exceeding standards.
3. Normally feed Guqiaosu 2‰-3‰, high-stability vitamin C 2‰-3‰, and Gantai 2‰ 3-5 times per week for preventive effect.
4. If shrimp disease appears, use Guqiaosu 10‰, high-stability vitamin C2 10‰, Gantai 8‰, and other antibiotics such as Kejunwang 10‰, or fleroxacin 7‰, etc., and feed continuously for 3-5 days.
5. If the dosage of Guqiaosu is increased before harvesting shrimp, it can not only reduce the proportion of soft-shell shrimp, but also thicken the shrimp shell, making it less likely to be damaged. The dosage is Guqiaosu 10‰-12‰, used together with multivitamins 10‰, fed continuously for 5-6 days.
6. If conditions permit, Guqiaosu can be fed for a long time, which can promote growth and prevent disease.

Haida's should be good. I heard that domestic aquatic feed has the highest technological content.
