Grow cherry tomatoes at home in two small steps, and one plant can bear dozens of fruits that bend the branches

Tomatoes are rich in nutritional value and full of water. When ripe, cherry tomatoes are bright red, and they are both a vegetable and a fruit. They are rich in vitamin B and vitamin C. If you have an empty flower pot at home and a little space on the balcony, you can grow a few tomato plants. With these simple little tips, tomatoes can bear abundantly and well, bending the branches.
Methods and tips for growing tomatoes at home
Tomatoes are generally grown from seed. You can start the seedlings in paper cups first, or sow them directly in a flower pot without transplanting later. Both methods work. After sowing, cover with 1 cm of soil. If the temperature is around 20°C, they will sprout in five days.
When the leaves grow to five or six, you can thin the seedlings, pull out the small ones, and keep the seedlings with thick, sturdy stems. Keep the strong seedlings and transplant them into flower pots. After transplanting the seedlings, do not expose them to the sun right away, fertilize, or water thoroughly; place them in a cool, ventilated spot.
When the seedlings grow to over ten cm tall, set up a support stake for them, a little distance from the roots, and then tie it together with the tomato seedling. If there are extra side branches, you can pinch them off and keep the main stem, and topdress in time, fertilizing once every half month.
If you want tomatoes to bear a lot and produce beautiful fruits, there is a little trick. That is to fertilize more. These two kinds of fertilizer are especially suitable for growing potted tomatoes. In pot soil, calcium is generally lacking, and the eggshells of the eggs we often eat are rich in calcium. Sprinkle some crushed eggshells into the pot soil as fertilizer; it can make the tomatoes taste full and very sweet.
In addition, cover the pot soil at the base of the tomato with a 2 cm thick layer of leaf mold. It not only provides fertility for the tomatoes, but also prevents pests, diseases, and pathogens. It makes the tomatoes grow vigorously and bloom and bear fruit especially abundantly.
Also, do not water too much at one time and too little at another, otherwise the fruits are prone to cracking. Before harvesting the tomatoes, appropriately reduce the amount of watering.
When the side branches grow to the same height as the main stem, you can cut off the top of the main stem. This promotes the growth of the fruits.
After the tomatoes turn red and ripe, cut them off from the upper part of the stem end to harvest. Tomatoes grown with these key points bear especially many, in clusters. One plant can bear several dozen or even over a hundred.
A bumper harvest of tomatoes.
