Spider plant is a very traditional trailing green plant, evergreen all year round, with slender and soft leaves. It produces "little spider plantlets" from the leaf axils, which hang down from the edge of the pot and look just like little flowers, giving it high ornamental value.

Some flower growers report that the spider plants they grow never produce "little spider plantlets". Today, Hua'er will show you how to soak these 2 "things" in water and use it to water them, and the little spider plantlets will shoot up fast!

These 2 "things" are vitamin B12 and willow branch juice

Vitamin B12 has a reviving effect on plants. It can constantly stimulate root vitality, enabling them to absorb nutrients; willow branch juice contains a large amount of salicylic acid, which can promote spider plants to take root and differentiate new buds, making them send out many "little spider plantlets".

Specific method: cut healthy willow branches of the current year, cut the branches into small sections, crush them and put them in a container, add clean water to soak, then add vitamin B12. Use half a tablet of vitamin B12 per 1L of water. First crush the vitamin B12 into powder, then mix and stir it with clean water until it is completely blended with the water, and soak everything together for one day.

Take the supernatant liquid, then pour it into the potting soil, pouring from the edge of the flowerpot inward, but do not pour it over the crown, as this can easily cause the plant to rot. Water once every 5-7 days. After a period of time, you will be able to see new buds differentiating in the leaf axils of the spider plant, sending out "little spider plantlets".

In summer high temperatures, spider plants will stop growing and may even develop dry tips and yellow leaves. You can take this liquid, dilute it 5 times, pour it into a fine-nozzle spray bottle, and spray it onto the leaves, spraying both sides evenly. This can keep the leaves green and prevent dry tips and yellow leaves.

That is all for spider plant care. If flower growers have other additions, you can share them with everyone in the comment section below. If you want to learn more about flower growing, you can follow Huajianke!
