Common feed for scorpions

1. Artificially bred feed: includes yellow mealworms, pill bugs, and centipedes. They have strong reproductive capacity and grow quickly. However, they should be raised in advance to prevent feed shortages. This type of feed is especially suitable for female scorpions.
2. Insect feed: includes ants, butterflies, and various moths.
They can be caught in the wild or trapped with a blacklight lamp. Suitable for feeding 2-3 cm juvenile scorpions and subadult scorpions.
3. Meat feed: frog meat, sparrow meat, chicken, pork, etc. It can be fed directly to pregnant scorpions that have not yet given birth,
but it must not be left in the pool for too long, to avoid spoilage, and spoiled feed should be removed promptly.
4. Mineral feed: in early spring, you can place some weathered soil from under mountain rocks and bone meal mixed into meat feed on the surface layer of the scorpion pool to feed scorpions of multiple instars.
5. Compound feed: ① 30% wheat bran (stir-fried until yellow), 40% egg liquid, 30% meat. ② 30% meat paste, 30% wheat bran (stir-fried until yellow), 30% flour (stir-fried until yellow), 10% green vegetable paste, mixed into granules. ③ 200 grams of sugar, 200 grams of wheat bran,
150 grams of milk. As long as the mixed feed has not spoiled, it can be fed to scorpions of all instars.
The feeding amount should be such that the scorpions eat their fill without leaving leftover feed.
6. Self-made feed additive: according to experiments, adding 1% of the mixture and a small amount of multivitamins to the feed can make scorpions grow plump and strong and increase the number of offspring. The preparation method is: crush 1000 grams of superphosphate into fine powder, add 3.5 grams of ferrous sulfate, 3 grams of copper sulfate, 2.5 grams of manganese sulfate, 1 gram of zinc sulfate, 1 gram of magnesium sulfate,
0.05 grams of potassium iodide, then mix well to make the mixture.
