Teaching you how to prepare artificial compound feed for scorpions

Raising insects and earthworms artificially to feed scorpions can help supplement nutrients, but not every insect, or every insect size, is necessarily edible for scorpions. At the same time, considering the growth and development of the scorpion's body, in addition to feeding live insects, nutrients must also be reasonably matched according to the needs of scorpions at each instar, so that the feed is diversified. This is especially true in winter, when even more attention should be paid to the scientific matching of feed, in order to achieve nutritional complementarity and comprehensively improve breeding results. The matching of live insects and artificial compound feed should be done scientifically according to the strength of the scorpion colony, whether it is new or old, and the scorpion's age. The specific method is: for weak scorpion colonies and newly introduced scorpion colonies, more live animal feed should be fed; for old scorpion colonies that have already been domesticated and kept at home, the proportion of plant-based feed should be gradually increased. Plant-based feed should be chopped finely before feeding. If fruit and vegetable peels are contaminated with pesticides, they must be washed clean to prevent poisoning. The compound feed for artificial scorpion farming can be made by mixing materials such as crushed bone and meat, or by-products from slaughterhouses such as chicken and rabbit trimmings, as well as wheat bran, flour, green vegetables and other materials in a certain proportion. Preparation method: mix the crushed bone and meat minced with a meat grinder, wheat bran or flour that has been stir-fried in a pan until slightly yellow and fragrant, and then add finely chopped green vegetables, adjusting to a granular form at a ratio of 3:3:1. For artificial compound feed, formulas can be adapted to local conditions in different places, choosing different materials for scientific and reasonable preparation. In scorpion feed, substances such as calcium dihydrogen phosphate and glucose sorbitol can also be added in appropriate amounts to benefit the growth of scorpions.
