What are the correct methods for using biogas slurry to feed pigs?

How do you use biogas slurry to feed pigs?

The biogas slurry used to feed pigs must be drawn from a biogas digester that has been producing gas normally for three months. 2 to 3 hours before feeding the pigs, use a bamboo-tube water gun to draw the slurry from the middle layer of the digester's discharge outlet, place it in a ventilated spot so the ammonia can evaporate, and then mix it with the feed for feeding. If biogas slurry is used as drinking water, it should be drawn and diluted with water at a 1:1 ratio to help the ammonia evaporate, after which it can be given directly to the pigs to drink. The dosage of added biogas slurry should be flexibly adjusted according to the size of the pig and how much it eats. Generally, during the first week of adding biogas slurry, add only 0.25 kg of biogas slurry per pig per week, increase it to 0.5 kg in the second week, and gradually increase the dosage after the pigs have adapted.

Technical requirements: the concentration of biogas slurry should best be kept at 1.0% to 1.5%; the amount of biogas slurry added is optimal when it makes up 80% to 110% of the daily ration. The amount added varies with the size of the pig: before 50 kg, with four meals a day, the biogas slurry added should make up 80% of the daily ration; after 50 kg, with three meals a day, the biogas slurry should make up 70% to 110% of the daily ration; for newly built biogas digesters or those after a major refill, biogas slurry may be used to feed pigs only after they have been producing gas normally for three months. The biogas slurry from sick digesters that produce no gas and from digesters into which toxic substances have been put must not be used to feed pigs.
