As people's living standards improve, many people keep a potted plant at home. Plants like pothos and money tree are foliage potted plants that flower lovers quite like. Most flower lovers always keep 1-2 pots at home. Besides the foliage, they can also purify the air. However, some flower lovers still leave messages saying they cannot grow them well. Based on this, today I will share a small method:

Soak them with "its" "branches", water once every 7 days, and pothos and money tree will fill the pot with growth even if ignored for a month

What exactly is "it" here?

Actually it is willow branches. Why can willow branches grow plants? Let's take a look at the reason together!

Actually this is mainly because willow branches contain a substance called salicylic acid, which has the effect of rooting and promoting buds, and also contain a small amount of aspirin, which can prevent plant root rot. So using willow branches to grow foliage potted plants works especially well.

The production and usage method is as follows:

1. Find some fresh willow bark, cut it into small pieces, then soak them in water. After 3 days, take out the willow bark water filtrate and water the flowers directly with it!

It can also be used as a rooting agent, and the effect is especially good, as shown in the picture below:

2. If you want the effect to be stronger, then try boiling willow bark water. Boil the willow bark in high-temperature water until you see the water turn black. At this point all the nutrients inside have been extracted

Pour the liquid into a cup, add 6~8 times the amount of water to dilute it, then you can water the flowers with it~

Flower lovers do not need to worry about burning the roots. This is a purely natural organic nutrient solution, and using it several more times is fine. After you persist in using it for a month, you will find that the leaves of your pothos and money tree are glossy and shiny, and new leaves also keep sprouting.

If flower lovers want to grow pothos and money tree well, light and watering also need attention. Let's take a look together!

How to grow a money tree?

1. The money tree should be placed in a spot indoors with ample sunlight. When placing it, note that the leaf surface should face the sunlight, and it must not be kept in shade for a long time, otherwise the branches and leaves will become twisted and deformed.

Watering once every 7-10 days is enough, but it is best to spray the money tree leaves with water once every 3 to 5 days, which can both help photosynthesis and make the branches and leaves more beautiful.

2. The money tree has a greater demand for fertilizer than other flowers and trees. When repotting, the proportion of fertile soil can be one third. Fertile soil includes mixed humus fallen leaves, miscellaneous bone meal, soybean cake residue, etc. This fertile soil has high effectiveness and is convenient and easy to obtain.

How to maintain and care for pothos?

1. Pothos cannot be exposed to direct sunlight, and cannot be exposed to the sun for a long time, otherwise the new leaves will become smaller, the leaf color will be dull, and the leaf edges will easily be scorched

Therefore it should be placed in a cool and ventilated place. If the indoor light is rather dim, you can move the pothos to a place with stronger light every ten days, then after a day move the pothos back to its original position, otherwise staying in a dim place for a long time will affect the pothos's photosynthesis.

2.: Pothos likes a lot of water, and should be watered more than ordinary flowers, but it must not have standing water, and the tray should be cleaned of sunken water. Watering time: 2-3 days. Clean the soil on the leaf surface in time, and spray water on the leaf surface every day.

This is even more so in the hot and dry summer season. The potting soil should remain moist, and water should often be sprayed on the leaf surface to increase air humidity, so as to help the growth of aerial roots.

That is all for today's sharing
