Is fermentation bed pig farming effective? Fermentation bed bacterial strain specialty store provides free technical support

This new farming method uses organic bedding to build a fermentation bed, using the fermentation bed to absorb pig manure, and using the microorganisms inside the fermentation bed to decompose the manure and transform the feed. It has changed the old traditional method of letting pigs urinate and defecate entirely inside the pig house, then washing it out with water, flushing it outside and polluting the environment, which is not conducive to protecting the ecological environment.

Fermentation bed pig farming has been proven by experiments to take only 3 days for the manure to be decomposed by microorganisms into very fine powder, disappearing without a trace. At the same time, the manure provides nutrients to the bacteria, and beneficial bacteria are constantly multiplying, forming mycelium. These high-protein substances then become a delicacy for the pigs. When the pigs eat them, it not only aids digestion but also boosts immunity. The entire fermentation bed forms a perfect small “biosphere”, which can be described as zero-emission, pollution-free organic agriculture. Raising pigs with a fermentation bed is like returning to a “natural” environment. The pigs eat, drink, defecate and urinate all in the pen, and the fermentation bed in the pen is loose and soft, neither dirty nor smelly, with only a faint scent of soil microorganisms and no stench of manure. So no matter how hot it is, there will be no flies. Because the manure is decomposed, the pigs live as if in the natural world, so they naturally have a big appetite and grow fast. The quality of the pigs naturally improves, and the benefits increase accordingly.
Raising pigs with a fermentation bed saves a lot of labour. Since there is no need to clean out manure, it saves 50% of labour. With conventional rearing, one person can only raise 500 pigs, but with fermentation bed pig farming, one can raise 1000. In addition, after the pigs eat the bedding bacteria, they have good constitutions and do not get sick, so basically no medicine is needed, saving one yuan in medical expenses per pig; at the same time, it can also save 20—30%; of feed. More importantly, it saves water. Conventional rearing requires a large amount of water for washing, but this pig farming method only needs enough water for drinking, so it saves 90% of water.

The main material of the fermentation bed is sawdust. In addition, there is clean soil and salt. The soil should be clean soil that has not been treated with chemical fertilizers or pesticides, because it contains more microorganisms. For the salt, coarse salt is mainly used. Sawdust accounts for 90% of the bedding, and the other 10% is soil and a small amount of salt. Sawdust is very loose and soft and can absorb water; adding coarse salt helps the decomposition of the sawdust. Finally, spray the Yijiayi fermentation bed special bacterial liquid onto the fermentation bed, mix thoroughly, and after 4 or 5 days of fermentation, the pigs can get on the bed. The height of the bedding bed is generally 80 cm to 90 cm. Before entering the pen, pigs must first have their internal parasites thoroughly eliminated.

Whether the fermentation bed works well is also related to the construction of the pig house. It is generally required that the pig house face north with its back to the south. Such a pen has good lighting, which is good for fermentation; it also has good ventilation, with no smell and no mosquitoes or flies. If greenhouse sheds are used for raising pigs, it is both less trouble and cheaper. This is because greenhouses are low in cost, and the microclimate is easier to regulate. In winter, the lighting is good and it is warm, so the pigs can safely overwinter; in summer, put down the shade film and roll up the surrounding skirt film to ventilate and cool down.
According to experts, this fermentation bed not only means pig manure and urine never need to be cleaned out, but even the bedding of the fermentation bed does not need to be changed for 3 to 5 years. As long as the fermentation bed special bacterial liquid is regularly mixed with water at a ratio of 1 to 300 and sprayed on the bed surface, it can improve the vitality of soil microorganisms and speed up the degradation and digestion of excrement. In addition, when a relatively large accumulation of pig manure is found during normal times, spread it toward the empty area to facilitate full decomposition. Also, the bacterial bed must not be too dry; that is, it must be kept very loose, but there must not be flying dust, and dust must not rise up, otherwise the pigs are prone to respiratory diseases. Stocking density: if the number of pigs raised per unit area is too large, the fermentation state of the bed will decline and it will not be able to rapidly degrade and digest the pig manure and urine. Generally, each pig occupies 1.2 to 1.5 sq m.
