Using fresh pig manure to feed fish gives better results

Fresh pig manure is better for feeding fish

When some fish farmers use pig manure to raise fish, they often ferment the pig manure before feeding it to the fish, but this is actually unnecessary; facts have proven that feeding fresh pig manure directly to fish gives good results.

This is because freshly excreted pig manure causes little pollution, contains more nutrients that fish can absorb, and is convenient to feed; it does not require a dedicated fermentation pit, which can reduce costs, and its utilization rate is also high. Compared with fermented pig manure, fresh pig manure does not rot or spoil, and it fertilizes the water faster.

When using fresh pig manure to feed fish, the manure of every 3 to 4 fattened pigs can feed the pond fish in 1 mu of water surface. When feeding, the fresh pig manure can be put directly into the pond water, and the feeding amount should be no more than what the fish can finish that day. Feed every day, in small amounts but more frequently. Note that during periods of high temperature, do not feed too much at one time, and stop feeding during muggy, hot, thundery weather. Normally, check the pond water quality often; if feeding fresh pig manure makes the pond water too acidic and lowers the pH value, 30 to 40 kg of quicklime per mu of water surface can be added to water and sprinkled over the whole pond to improve the water quality.
