Free-range sparrow raising methods

1. The construction of sparrow nests; this is also the first step in sparrow farming, and the last step as well.

1.1 Build sparrow nests at a height of 2.5 m above the ground. The base is supported by concrete pillars or large trees, and the upper part is built into honeycomb-style multi-layer sparrow nests, developing upward into space to a height of several dozen meters, covering an area of 30 sq m.

1.2 Each ecological park can build two to four sparrow breeding houses, and each breeding house can breed more than 100,000 sparrows per year.

1.3 The structure of each sparrow nest: the wall thickness is 35 cm to 50 cm, with sparrow nests built on both sides of the wall; the vertical and horizontal spacing between nests is 15 cm, the partition wall is 5-8 cm, the entrance of each nest is 4 cm in diameter, and the nest space is 8-10 cm, roughly the size of a human fist.

1.4 Materials for building sparrow nests include: red brick and cement, adobe, perlite plus cement, foam board (styrofoam board) with mud and weeds, beverage bottles, wide-mouth glass bottles, and so on. Foam board is the fastest material for making sparrow nests.

2. Raising methods;

2.1 This kind of farming is free-range, ecological and natural. The sparrows fly all over the sky, there is no cost in the raising process, and no feeding is needed; the sparrows eat only natural grass seeds and insects.

2.2 Source of sparrow stock: the young sparrows bred that year need to find nests to settle in and breed the following spring. The old sparrows have only one nest, which they keep for themselves. A large number of young sparrows need a large number of sparrow nests, that is, the holes in the wall, to breed their young. When people build sparrow nests for the young sparrows, the sparrows come on their own to settle, build nests and breed.

3. Stability of sparrow farming;

3.1 As long as sparrows build nests and breed in the completed nests, this is their permanent home. As long as people do not destroy the sparrow nests during the breeding season, the sparrows will not leave their nests.

3.2 In the cold regions of Heilongjiang Province, they breed three clutches per year, four birds per clutch, one clutch each in June, July and August, so each nest can produce 12 birds per year.

3.3 The condition for sparrow breeding is that they breed in the season when nature has insects, because young sparrows need to eat large numbers of insects to grow. The insect season in the south is relatively longer than in the north, and for every additional month of the insect season, one more clutch can be bred.

3.4 This is a purely natural-state raising method. During the day, the sparrows spend most of their time flying in the wild, finding insects and grass seeds to eat, and only at 4-5 p.m. do they gather and fly back to their nests or to large trees near the nests to spend the night. They never get sick and never need epidemic prevention. Therefore, the number of farmed sparrows can only increase year after year and will never decrease.

4. Survival characteristics of sparrows: sparrows are our closest friends among humans; the place they live is under the eaves of the houses where we humans live. They leave early and return late, working tirelessly and diligently to reproduce. They are also resident birds, never leaving their birthplace throughout the year. They have well-developed muscles and highly flexible flying skills, and their ability to catch insects is especially strong; they can catch both stationary and flying insects. They can fly vertically up and down and make 90-degree sharp turns in flight. Their muscles are quite firm, and the meat is dark red.

5. Uses of sparrows: they can be used as medicine, to strengthen the body, and to tonify the kidneys and enhance male function. They are also a superior delicacy on the dining table and a high-end gift.

6. Marketing: at present there are no sparrow products on the market, so this is a market gap, and the sales space is particularly large. At present, some people illegally catch and sell wild sparrows, but the quantity is limited, it cannot meet people's consumption demand, and there is no pricing power. If sparrows can be bred in large numbers and a satisfactory long-term supply quantity can be achieved, then the pricing power for sparrow sales will be in hand. In the future, the sparrow farming business will certainly get better and better, and the profits will grow larger and larger.

7. Raising sparrows in an ecological park can turn them into high-end food, high-end gifts and sightseeing products.

7.1 During the breeding season, the old sparrows feed insects to the young sparrows, flying back and forth busily, and as soon as the old sparrow arrives at the nest, the young sparrows chirp noisily. This will add a lot of sightseeing fun for young people and children.

7.2 If a camera is installed in each sparrow nest and the footage is shown on the ground, it can also attract viewers to watch how sparrows lay eggs, how they feed the young sparrows, and how they guide the young sparrows out of the nest for training.

7.3 If glass is installed on the inner side of the sparrow nests and visitors are allowed into the remaining central space to watch the sparrows laying eggs, hatching, feeding the young sparrows insects, and how they guide the young sparrows to leave the nest, the sightseeing effect would be even greater.

8. Most suitable areas for farming: orchards, woodland, barren hills and slopes, and large-grain crop growing areas (corn, soybeans, etc.).
