Sandworm Farming Techniques (2012.02.19)

The sandworm, known by its scientific name Sipunculus nudus, likes to burrow in holes and requires a growth environment free of any pollution. Therefore, people also regard the sandworm as an indicator of environmental quality. Although it is not as prized as sea cucumber, shark fin, or abalone, its flavor is fresh and crisp-tender, surpassing that of sea cucumber and shark fin. At present, artificial breeding and farming of sandworms have been achieved.
