How can pig farming profits be improved? Take a look at these new techniques

In pig farming practice, the Veterinary Station of the Animal Husbandry Bureau of Dongping County, Shandong Province, has explored a technique of making a homemade high-energy biological preparation to add to pig feed, with remarkable practical results. This method has the advantages of easily available raw materials, simple production, high efficiency and convenience, and low cost. It is suitable for farmers to make and use themselves and can greatly improve pig farming profits. The specific operating method and use technique are introduced below:

1. Material selection and preparation: 1 kg each of pig hair, chicken feathers and human hair, cleaned of all foreign matter, then sun-dried for later use.

2. Extraction method: Use a large iron pot that can hold 80 jin of water, add 55 jin of water, bring to a boil over high heat until it reaches 100 degrees, then immediately add 1 kg each of clean pig hair, chicken feathers and human hair, then add 500 g of A3 decomposition enzyme (available in shops) and boil for five minutes; after everything has dissolved, concentrate, cool and let stand. Filter and put into bottles, then seal. The resulting biological high-energy active amino acid and methionine practical high-efficiency solution is ready for use. One batch is enough for 10-15 pigs.

3. How to use: For a medium-sized pig of 100 jin as the standard, add 8-10 g of the growth agent to each feeding. After seven days the pig's body will look glossy, it will eat eagerly and sleep well, and weight gain will be obvious; a medium-sized pig can gain 1.8 to 2.1 jin of body weight per day with this amino acid method, which has proven effective every time it is tried. It can be sent to market in 100 days and can save about 1/3 of feed. It is especially effective for the "stunted pigs", "hot pigs" and "small old pigs" commonly seen in rural areas, with results in seven days. Under ordinary farm feed conditions, this method enables meat pigs, by rapidly supplementing and absorbing active biological high-energy amino acids, protein and trace elements, to greatly improve pig farming profits, and the meat quality is excellent and delicious, while the cost is low: each pig costs only a few yuan to gain 2 jin per day.
