In summer the temperature is high, and all kinds of odors drift out too. As a flower lover, how can you tolerate these smells drifting around the house? Quickly grow a fragrant flower at home to get rid of the odors. Here are several easy-to-grow and fragrant plants for everyone.

1. Fragrant wood (Qingxiangmu)

In some places it is also called mosquito-repellent grass. It is a very easy-to-grow foliage plant with a faint citrus scent that can also repel mosquitoes. The key point is that it is very easy to grow. Place it indoors in a bright spot; it is drought-tolerant, and you only need to water it when you see the potting soil turn pale. When growing it in a pot, choose loose, breathable soil and it will grow more vigorously.

2. Orange jasmine (Jiulixiang)

It is an evergreen plant with a fresh fragrance that produces small white flowers with a rich, charming scent. It is suitable for care on a balcony. Water it by letting the soil dry and then soaking it, but do not let it stay too wet for a long time, as that will cause leaf drop. Fertilize just 1-2 times a year. It likes a warm environment, and in winter it is best to move it indoors for care.

3. Scented geranium -

Scented geranium has a fresh scent resembling a blend of lemon, fruit, and rose. The fragrance is pleasant, and it is a well-known mosquito-repellent plant. Whether kept at home or planted in the ground, it can adapt well and has the effect of repelling mosquitoes and purifying the air. But when caring for it, remember to place it in a spot with plenty of sunlight. With enough light, its fragrance will be even richer.

4. Cuban oregano (Pengpengxiang) -

It is a very mini small potted plant. Touching its leaves gives off a faint apple scent. It likes loose, breathable potting soil, and watering should not be excessive, otherwise the roots rot easily. It likes an environment with plenty of sunlight but is not cold-tolerant, so in winter it must be moved indoors for care.

The above 4 fragrant plants are all relatively simple to grow and not troublesome. Flower lovers who like them should not miss out. However, please do not place these plants in the bedroom; try to place them in the living room or on a balcony and other well-ventilated places.
