There are many people who love flowers and plants, but there aren't necessarily many flower enthusiasts willing to put a lot of effort into caring for them - all kinds of flower fertilizers, growing media, and so on, it feels like so much hassle. Today, the sharing brought by Qiu Ma is to tell everyone how to simply grow flowers well, using materials already at home, without needing to buy anything special, so the flowers and plants at home can grow vigorously.

What we're using today is the most common thing in the household: eggs, used to provide nutrients for the flowers, and the effect is simply too good. Let's take a look at how to use eggs to grow flowers.

1. Crack a small hole in the egg, poke a small hole at the edge of the flower pot, pour the egg white directly into the small hole and then bury it, letting the nutrients of the egg liquid slowly seep into the potting soil for the plant roots to absorb. However, this method is not very suitable for use in summer, as it easily attracts insects. It is recommended to use this method in autumn and winter. The nutrients from one egg white can last more than half a year.

2. Use eggshells as nutrients. Eggshells are rich in phosphorus, potassium, and calcium fertilizer. After cleaning the eggshells and drying them in the sun, they can be added directly to the soil for growing flowers, which can make the potting soil more breathable and permeable and prevent it from compacting.

Note: When using eggshells, be sure to wash them clean and disinfect them by sun exposure before adding them to the flower pot. If conditions allow, you can also grind the cleaned eggshells into powder and add a small spoonful to the potting soil about every three months, which is likewise a very good nutrient.

Do you all understand the role of eggshells for flowers? Very practical. Next time, don't throw away the eggshells at home. They can save you a big chunk of fertilizer money and can make your flowers bloom better. Hurry up and collect them for later use!
