Everyone knows that for the little healing potted plants on your desk to grow well, transplanting them to gain more growing space is important, but plump succulents are different, and there are many details where the devil is hidden.

So how do you successfully transplant succulents? Here are a few steps to teach you:

1. Don't pick the wrong pot. When choosing a pot, the bottom must have a hole for drainage; to prevent pests, it is best to add a mesh screen to keep it from getting blocked. This is very important, because the bottom easily accumulates water, which will produce many small insects.

2. Succulents' own leaves contain a lot of water, so if you choose soil that is relatively saturated with moisture, root development will be harmed. Therefore, for repotting succulents, choose sandy soil with good drainage, so the roots will not rot because of it.

3. Potting up. Hold the succulent with your hand, turn the pot upside down, shake it slowly and pull the pot upward, and the little succulent comes out. Plant the plant directly into the new pot, wait a week before watering, and be careful to place it in a shady spot after repotting as much as possible, and do not expose it to the sun.

After a period of time, once it has rooted, you can care for it as usual with the water-when-dry method.
