FDA launches comprehensive inspections, fresh milk in first round
The Food and Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare launched a nationwide inspection of everyday essentials yesterday, visiting Kuang Chuan Corporation in the morning to inspect fresh milk production and processes, in order to safeguard public food safety.
Yesterday morning, the FDA and the Taoyuan County Government Health Bureau went to Kuang Chuan Dairy Co., Ltd. in Dayuan Township, Taoyuan County, to inspect whether the company's production line meets standards.
The FDA said the Executive Yuan joint inspection team will launch a nationwide inspection of everyday essentials starting today, with the first round targeting fresh milk, and will take samples of fresh milk products from twenty factories, and hopes to understand whether hygiene management on the production lines is being implemented.
Kuang Chuan said the company has long valued its corporate image, and also adopts high-standard scrutiny in the manufacturing process, hoping to give consumers the greatest peace of mind.
