How to grow pea shoots? Let me teach you the correct planting method

Pea shoots are a type of vegetable, the tender stems and leaves of the pea plant, also known as dragon whisker sprouts, dragon whisker greens, pea tips, etc. They are rich in nutrients and contain a variety of amino acids essential to the human body. They are most popular in the south, especially in the Jiangnan region. People in Yangzhou always place a plate of pea shoots on the table at the start of the year to express the wish for peace year after year. Now let us take a look at how to grow pea shoots!
Step one: You need to put the pea seeds in a plastic basin, or you can also use some buckets, then soak them in clean water for 6 to 8 hours.
Step two: After soaking, rinse the pea shoots repeatedly with clean water several times. After rinsing, place the peas in a seedling tray. Note here that the seedling tray must be lined with oil-absorbing moisture-retaining paper. When placing the peas, they should be laid flat and spread evenly.
Step three: Place the arranged peas in a ventilated place, and also note that they must be kept in a shaded place. Spray the peas with clean water every day, generally 2 to 3 times. The peas sprout quickly, generally sprouting in 1 to 2 days.
Step four: After 3 to 4 days, the pea shoots will grow a bit taller. At this point we need to place the pea shoots in a well-ventilated spot, while also ensuring they receive light. After exposure to sunlight, the pea shoots will gradually change from golden yellow to green.
Step five: Spray the pea shoots with clean water 2 to 3 times every day. This is essential each day, otherwise the pea shoots will wither. After 7 to 10 days, you can harvest fresh pea shoots.
Step six: When harvesting the pea shoots, be sure not to pull them up by the roots. Leave a portion of the roots, 2 to 3 cm. Afterward, you can spray these roots with clean water 2 to 3 times a day, and after waiting 3 to 5 days, you can harvest fresh pea shoots again. Generally, you can harvest 2 to 3 times this way.
Note: When planting, you must also be sure to soak the peas for 6 to 8 hours. In addition, you must wash the peas especially clean, as only this can ensure the quality and taste of the grown pea shoots.
