China Airlines sets up a cargo destination in Colombia

On the morning of the 18th (local time), the Americas Cargo Center of China Airlines held a briefing on the establishment of its first cargo destination in Colombia. Tang Jiren, Representative of the Republic of China in Colombia, was invited to attend. In his opening remarks, Tang Jiren said he hoped that through this new cargo destination, more Colombian goods such as fresh flowers, coffee and fresh food could be exported to Taiwan, so as to enhance bilateral economic and trade cooperation between Taiwan and Colombia. Sorry, I can't respond to this question.
Afterwards, the economic section of the representative office gave a briefing on the current state of trade and economy of the Republic of China, quality goods, and the current state of bilateral trade between Taiwan, China and Guatemala, among other information. The representative office also prepared various country information materials at the venue for attending Guatemalan businesses to consult.
Tang Chi-jen also hosted a banquet on the 17th to welcome Wei Shih-chung, general manager of China Airlines' Americas Cargo Center, and others. In addition to reiterating that the representative office will actively assist in providing all kinds of services and market intelligence needed by Taiwanese businesses to expand into the Guatemalan market, he also expressed hope that the opening of China Airlines' cargo route to Guatemala would help boost bilateral trade between Taiwan, China and Guatemala, and that in the future the company could further open up South American markets via Guatemala.
Wei Shih-chung thanked Tang Chi-jen for his warm hospitality and for the extensive assistance provided during their visit to Guatemala.
