Luodong Sewage Treatment Plant Phase 3 will start construction the year after next

The Yilan Luodong Sewage Treatment Plant, operated by Shanshui Company under Liki Construction, has completed the 2nd phase of plant construction. Phase 3 is expected to be launched when the sewer connection rate of the first 2 phases reaches 80%, with construction expected to begin in 2016.

The Luodong Sewage Treatment Plant and sewage sewer connection project is divided into 3 phases. The 2nd phase of sewer connections is currently being actively carried out, and the combined connection rate of the first 2 phases has reached 66.85%, still some time away from the 80% connection rate; the daily sewage treatment capacity of the first 2 phases reaches 30,000 metric tons, but the actual current treatment volume is only 14,000 metric tons per day.

Wu Renjie, general manager of Shanshui Environmental Engineering Company, said that the Luodong Sewage Treatment Plant currently has annual operating revenue of about NT$500 million, and it is estimated that after Phase 3 is completed, annual operating revenue will increase by another NT$250 million.
