A List of Open-Field Planting Times for Common Vegetables

Each vegetable has different temperature requirements; some like heat, some like cold. Their growing periods also vary from long to short, and these factors determine when they are planted. For example, napa cabbage is a cold-loving vegetable, and it can be sown in early spring or in early autumn.
