Making Money to Move into a New Home: Xpec Group Settles in Xindian, New Taipei City

(Taiwan Business News) Xpec signed a contract with the New Taipei City Government yesterday, officially announcing that Xpec Group's headquarters will relocate to the joint-development shopping mall at Xindian MRT Station in New Taipei City, right next to Bitan Scenic Area, with official move-in expected by the end of May.

Xpec Group Chairman Xu Jinlong stated that since its founding, Xpec has never left Taipei City. After moving to the Reinsurance Building on Nanjing East Road in 2003, it underwent 10 years of growth, and the space at its current location is no longer sufficient.

He said that, as the New Taipei City Government was assisting cultural and creative businesses with development planning, and after 3 failed tenders, Xpec finally won the lease rights for the joint-development space at Xindian MRT Station in the 4th public tender, which led Xpec to decide to relocate to New Taipei City.

The new site of Xpec Group's headquarters is located in the joint-development building at Xindian MRT Station, "Bitan Youyue." The leased floors cover 3 levels: the 2nd floor, the 1st floor, and the 1st basement floor, with an area of 3,284 ping.

Xpec Group is expected to combine Bitan's green mountains and clear waters with a daily passenger volume of 20,000 people and gather more than 500 young people to create the most important cultural and creative office-commercial complex space in greater southern Taipei, build a cultural and creative industry cluster in Xindian, and create a new highlight for New Taipei City.

In addition, Xpec Group stated that at this year's Taipei International Game Show in February, the entrepreneurial platform initiated by Wayi, Xpec, Gamania, InterServ, and Hong Kong's Mad Head, the parent company of Tower of Saviors, will also move into Xindian MRT Station in the future after obtaining the consent of each investing company. In the future, it will become the starting point of Taiwanese young people's dreams and the largest App cluster in Taiwan, uncovering everyday millionaire heroes who can start a business just by swiping an EasyCard.

According to the New Taipei City Government's plan, the 1st floor and 1st basement floor of the "Bitan Youyue" shopping mall will be combined with a well-known commercial distribution group, bringing in Presidential Cultural and Creative Award winner and environmental artist Huang Ruifang, to create a cultural and creative office-commercial complex space combining art and lifestyle leisure aesthetics, and to bring 600 to 800 job opportunities in the shortest possible time, bringing a brand-new cultural and creative look to New Taipei City.
