The four-in-one auto parts show (AMPA), Asia's most effective platform for business matchmaking, opened yesterday. The organizers estimate it will attract 60,000 visitors and 7,000 international professional buyers to Taiwan for procurement, and is expected to generate US$600 million in business opportunities.

The four-in-one show, comprising the "Taipei International Auto Parts and Accessories Show," the "Taipei International Auto Electronics Show," the "Taiwan International Motorcycle Show," and the "Taiwan International Electric Vehicle Show," features 1,346 exhibitors and 3,665 booths this year, setting a record high in scale.

Responding to the cloud computing concept and the energy-saving and carbon-reduction trend, the auto electronics show is racing to launch high-power, high-efficiency, and high-energy-saving innovative products to enter the global automotive market. In the electric vehicle sector, the US-based TESLA Taiwan supply chain is adding richness to the exhibition.

The organizers have also carefully arranged procurement matchmaking meetings, allowing exhibitors from the four auto parts shows and international buyers to conduct face-to-face procurement negotiations during the exhibition.

Major buyers include "Advance Auto Parts," the largest auto parts retailer in the United States; "VALEO," Europe's second-largest auto parts manufacturer; "SAF-Holland," a major commercial vehicle parts supplier from mainland China; "Delphi Trading (Shanghai)," a benchmark auto parts manufacturer; "Sunstar," a major motorcycle parts manufacturer from Singapore; "MAGURA," Germany's largest motorcycle parts importer; and "RAFIGMBH," a German manufacturer of electric vehicle and related electronic components.
