Growth habits of dwarf lilyturf
Dwarf lilyturf prefers a warm, humid and relatively shaded environment. It is cold-tolerant and averse to strong light and high temperatures. When flowers appear in July, the underground tuberous roots begin to form. September to October is the peak period of root development, November is the period of tuberous root enlargement, and after temperatures rise at the end of February, tuberous root enlargement accelerates.
Dwarf lilyturf seeds have a certain dormant characteristic. A low temperature of about 5°C for 2 to 3 months can break dormancy and allow normal germination. The seed lifespan is 1 year, and division propagation is usually used in production.
