qualifications for Yilan's first tuna. Captain Liu Songfu happily headed back to port and reported to the Su'ao Fisheries Radio to announce the good news ashore. At 8 a.m. the next morning, a bidding auction will be held at the Nanfang'ao First Fish Market.

Liu Songfu pointed out that he had caught bluefin tuna weighing more than 300 kg in the past, but he had never caught Yilan's first tuna. Now, catching the first tuna makes him very happy! Although the actual measured weight was only about 135 kg, the actual auction price of 5,300 yuan per jin was also exciting and encouraging. After the auction was over, he immediately went out to sea again to work, believing he could catch an even bigger bluefin tuna.

The Nanfang'ao First Fish Market had already auctioned a bluefin tuna on April 10, but because the fishing boat that caught it was registered in Donggang, it did not meet the standard for Yilan's first tuna. Therefore, the boat owner quietly and quickly returned to port for the auction. As for the bluefin tuna caught by the boat "Shengfu No. 6," although it was already the second bluefin tuna, because it met the qualification of being registered in the local port, it was truly Yilan's first tuna! The Yilan County Government and the Su'ao District Fishermen's Association both happily welcomed the arrival of tuna season.
