Hsinchu County Wufeng A-Li Festival: Experience the Hunter Eco Tour

(Taiwan Business News) Green eco-origin travel is now in vogue! Hosted by the Wufeng Township Office, the "Hsinchu County Wufeng A-Li Festival" will kick off on April 26 (Saturday) with the "Micro-Hunting Corner Hunter Eco Tour" and the "Wild Art: Micro-Hunting Corner Farming-Learning Market" feast, leading the public to open up a new way of reading and traveling, and to take part in a true "living cultural landscape" shaped by origin - people × objects × soil. In a real hunting ground and a traditional trading market of makino bamboo architecture, the public will immerse themselves in the authentic life scenes of the Atayal people, participating in and interpreting the indigenous people's wild art - the life aesthetics of hunter families - and, through the practice of contemporary green eco travel, seeing and supporting the land culture that nurtures the makino bamboo shoots of the indigenous homeland.
The experience edition of the "Hsinchu County Wufeng A-Li Festival," the "Micro-Hunting Corner Hunter Eco Tour," adopts a pre-registration system. Led by Lin Chih-chieh, founder of the Micro-Hunting Corner Action Alliance, the co-organizer and planner of this event, and local Atayal hunter Laling.Yumin, the public is invited to jointly interpret how a complete hunter talks with the mountain, understands the voice of the wind, lives well with the mountain, the spiritual attitude embodied, and the various skills required, as well as to learn about the many wild-life applications of "makino bamboo" in the indigenous hunting process. In a real hunting ground, the public will engage in hands-on practice throughout, and together with the hunters, using their hands and five senses, imprint the symbiotic world of the great mountain and the Atayal hunters.
Lin Chih-chieh said that through the tribal micro-experiences of the "Micro-Hunting Corner Hunter Eco Tour" and the "Wild Art: Micro-Hunting Corner Farming-Learning Market," the "Hsinchu County Wufeng A-Li Festival" - the Micro-Hunting Corner Action Alliance wants to take friends willing to make peace with Taiwan's land, mountains and forests deep into the hunting-ground life of the Atayal people in the back mountains of Wufeng, to see the Atayal attitude toward the mountains and forests, to hear the music of harmony between the Atayal and the mountains and forests, and thereby to learn to appreciate and protect this unique corner of symbiosis in the relationship between humankind and nature.
