Propagating snake plants and Christmas cacti from cuttings: use these 2 things to make rooting water, and big white roots will shoot up fast

Many gardening enthusiasts grow some green plants at home, and snake plants (Sansevieria) and Christmas cacti (Schlumbergera) are two common plants that are deeply loved by gardening fans.
Gardening fans generally like to propagate plants themselves, and most choose to propagate by cuttings, but some gardening fans feel that their cuttings root too slowly, or some basically do not root at all. This makes a big difference depending on whether rooting water is used or what kind of rooting water is used. Today, Hua'er will introduce to everyone how to make homemade rooting water with these 2 things, to propagate snake plants and Christmas cacti from cuttings, and big white roots will come rushing out fast!
These 2 things are white granulated sugar and vitamin B12. White granulated sugar is a rooting material commonly used by gardening fans, but its effect is not that obvious. If vitamin B12 is added, then the plant will root very quickly, because vitamin B12 contains substances that promote plant activity and can keep the plant in an active state.
Specific method: prepare white granulated sugar, vitamin B12, and clean water, mix according to the ratio of 2:1:20. First pour the white granulated sugar into the clean water and let it fully dissolve, then grind the vitamin B12 into powder and put it in, stirring together until completely dissolved, and the rooting water is done.
Note: if there is no vitamin B12 at home, willow sap can be used instead, and the effect is also very good.
Choose healthy snake plant leaves, trim them into segments of about 10-15cm each, first place them in a cool place to dry, then directly soak the head end in the rooting water. After soaking for half an hour, they can be taken for cuttings. When making the cuttings, insert the leaves 1/3-1/2 deep, which is more helpful for rooting. After about 10 days, big white roots come out.
For Christmas cacti, use segments as the unit. Generally, 3-7 segments are chosen for cuttings. They can all be placed in the rooting water to soak, or 1-2 segments can be soaked. Christmas cacti absorb slowly, so they need to be soaked for about 1 hour, then inserted into the potting soil to a depth of 1.5 segments.
