Farming methods for keeping laying ducks productive in winter
How to make laying ducks produce more eggs in winter?

How can laying ducks keep producing just as many eggs in winter? Besides protection against the cold and scientific management, the feed formula and feeding method are crucial.
First, adjust the daily ration of the laying ducks: appropriately increase the proportion of energy feed such as corn, reduce the protein content to 15%-17%, and be sure to increase green feed such as cabbage and radish to ensure the ducks' need for vitamins.
Second, add night feeding, that is, feed three times a day with one extra feeding at night. Generally, feed and give water first, then give green feed; change the feed gradually, not too abruptly. This method can keep laying ducks at a relatively high laying rate in winter.
