What are the costs and profits of goose farming?

Meat goose farming is one of the good poultry farming projects that farmers have paid more attention to in recent years. Geese have a fast growth rate, a high feed-to-meat ratio (2.6:1), and stable meat goose prices, making them the preferred investment for farmers and family farms.

Growth pattern of geese

Under grazing plus supplementary feeding conditions, the average body weight at 90 days of age is 3.5 kg, and the feed consumption ratio is 3.0:1. Under normal feeding and management conditions, when the ambient temperature is suitable, the feather growth of geese follows a certain pattern.
