Detailed Explanation of a Large-Scale Rex Rabbit Farm Design Plan

Large-Scale Rex Rabbit Farm Design Plan
In China, domestic Rex rabbit farming has been practiced for more than 30 years, but because the vast majority of operations are small-scale scattered farms, the pelts they produce vary in quality due to differences in farming models, which brings inconvenience to further deep processing. Therefore, the economic benefits of the general small-scale family farming model are much lower than those of larger-scale farms. The large-scale Rex rabbit farm design plan is as follows.
Semi-open rabbit housing
Face-to-face rabbit cages are used, with an inverted-V roof frame placed over every 5 to 6 cages, the lower edge of the roof frame no less than 2.5 to 2.8 m above the ground, and the roof surface can be covered with wheat straw or small blue tiles. See the floor plan of cage arrangement in semi-open rabbit housing for details. The building method of the rabbit housing is as shown in the figure:

Enclosed rabbit housing
Enclosed rabbit housing has walls all around, and ventilation depends entirely on doors and windows. The climate environment inside the housing is easy to control and is little affected by outside climate and seasons. It is suitable for cold regions, high-cold mountainous areas, and old houses, and the converted rabbit housing is used for raising breeding rabbits and young rabbits. See the floor plan of cage arrangement in enclosed rabbit housing for details of cage arrangement.
