Dr. Museum Challenge at the New Taipei City Gold Museum: Prizes Await
Take on the Dr. Museum Challenge: The New Taipei City Gold Museum Has Gifts

(Taiwan Business News) May 18 is "International Museum Day," and the Gold Museum invites you to come to the museum this weekend and take on the "Dr. Museum" challenge to win a small gift! On that day, the "Gold Mining Shop" is also offering a 15% discount on limited-edition items.
The International Council of Museums (ICOM) was founded in 1946 and is the only global international non-profit organization composed of museum experts and scholars. Beginning in 1977, ICOM designated May 18 of each year as "International Museum Day," mainly to awaken the public to recognize and understand the important role museums play in society.
And every year on May 18, museums around the world often hold related activities to celebrate this special day; in response to 518 International Museum Day, the Gold Museum will hold a total of 4 sessions on May 17 and 18 (Saturday and Sunday) at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., with the on-duty miner Dr. Museum, wearing a miner's helmet, a towel over his shoulder, and carrying a sulfur fire lamp, patrolling the museum and receiving visitors from home and abroad. If you happen to meet him or her at work, you are welcome to enthusiastically ask him questions related to the museum! If you want to know what fun mysterious attractions there are in the museum, or the popular foods you absolutely must try, just ask Dr. Museum! Or you can also choose to take a photo with Dr. Museum, check in, and upload it to FB to receive a mysterious small gift specially prepared by the museum. Quantities are limited, while supplies last.
In addition, registration for the "Mysterious Forbidden Zone Great Exploration - Panning for Gold with Miner Elders" event held by the museum in response to "2014 New Taipei City 518 International Museum Day" is already full, and we thank everyone for their enthusiastic support. On May 18, the museum's "Gold Mining Shop" is also offering a 15% discount on limited-edition items. Visitors are welcome to take home unforgettable souvenirs after experiencing all the delicious and fun activities in the museum.
