(Taiwan Business News) When the "swipe generation" faces "swipe education," creativity alone is not enough - technological power is needed too! In view of the growing trend of digital learning, FarEasTone Telecommunications is offering a million-dollar prize this year with the launch of the third Green Lightness Kung Fu "I Draw, I Speak, Therefore I Love," targeting domestic picture book creation talents and calling for eco-friendly electronic picture books. At the same time, it is joining hands with If Kids Theatre, the Taiwan Picture Book Association, the Homemakers United Foundation Environmental Protection Fund, the NCCU Digital Culture Action Lab, Story House and other organizations to serve as guardians with love and select quality picture books. In addition, seizing the trend of everyone having a phone in hand in the mobile generation, FarEasTone is also calling on the public to share touching eco-friendly scenes from life through the "Observe, Speak, View, Shoot" mobile photography contest.
FarEasTone Telecommunications General Manager Li Bin stated that FarEasTone emphasizes the dual core axes of corporate social responsibility: "Fashionable Environmental Protection, Responsible Creativity," stressing that doing environmental protection can not only be easy and fun, but can also be fashionable. Last year we pioneered the call for eco-friendly electronic picture books, collecting a total of 187 works. Not only were the results remarkable, but it also provided a stage for Taiwan's picture book cultural and creative talents to shine. The 13 award-winning green picture books from last year were even put on the FarEasTone e-book store, free for parents and public welfare groups to use, with a total of more than 5,000 downloads. Aiming at the 4G mobile audio-visual trend, FarEasTone is making persistent efforts, joining hands with If Kids Theatre to present the award-winning picture book works in a brand-new animated form. Today's nationwide premiere, "Hey! Have You Seen My Companion?", is last year's outstanding champion work. In addition, we are cooperating with the Homemakers United Foundation and Story House to adapt the award-winning stories into teaching plans, and through FarEasTone's volunteer power, we actively go deep into remote campuses in the north, central and south to tell environmental protection stories, so that these outstanding works are passed down far and wide.
The third Green Lightness Kung Fu submission activity runs from now until July 31, reaching out to all creative talents who love drawing, with a first prize averaging 10,000 yuan per page in high prize money. FarEasTone hopes to encourage picture book talents to fully develop the environmental protection issues they observe in life, create lively and interesting eco-friendly electronic picture books, pass the concept of loving the Earth on to Taiwan's next generation, and also let these stories be passed down far and wide.
