Water for hydroponic plants matters: do these 3 things for thick branches, strong roots and emerald leaves

Many gardening enthusiasts choose to grow plants directly in water for convenience and cleanliness, but they often find that the plants grow poorly, frequently with dry tips and yellow leaves, root rot, and in severe cases even the death of the whole plant.
For hydroponic green plants, the most important thing is water. Water needs careful attention, and you need to do these 3 things well to get thick branches, strong roots and emerald leaves.
1. For newly bought hydroponic green plants, you must prune first, cutting away all the bad leaves and the leaves near the head. The rooting area at the head needs more contact area with the water, so cut it at an angle.
You need to let it root quickly within a certain period of time; failing to root for a long time will make the green plant turn yellow and eventually die. So you must be very particular about the water. Besides changing the water often, you also need to add a little aspirin powder, because aspirin contains salicylic acid, which can promote rooting; you can also directly drip 1-2 drops of willow sap, which can also speed up the plant's rooting and sprouting.
2. During the peak growing season, green plants need plenty of oxygen, and the oxygen in the water is often insufficient, so black roots and root rot commonly occur. Therefore, it is best to add some hydrogen peroxide to the hydroponic container every week to raise the oxygen content in the water so the roots can breathe better.
3. The water used normally is mostly tap water, so it should be left to stand for more than half a day in advance, and the clear upper liquid should be taken to top up the green plants' water. Green plants also need some trace elements, which the water often cannot provide in sufficient amounts. For example, lucky bamboo (Dracaena sanderiana) easily develops iron-deficiency yellow leaves, so you should put a rusty iron nail into the hydroponic bottle to increase the iron content in the water, making it more emerald green and glossy.
That is all for hydroponic green plants. If you have other additions, feel free to share them with everyone in the comments section below. To learn more about plant care, you can follow Huajianke!
