Feed Formulas and Preparation Methods for Guinea Pig Farming

For breeding guinea pigs, use 70 kg of complete pellet feed for piglets, 30 kg of rice bran, 20 g of vitamin C, 20 g of multivitamins (Jinsaiwei), and 5 kg of "Huoli 99" health liquid.

The feeding method for 15-day-weaned commercial guinea pigs is: 70 kg of complete pellet feed for chicks, 30 kg of rice bran, 20 g of vitamin C, 20 g of multivitamins (Jinsaiwei), and 20 g of "Biological Fattening Essence." Mix the feed with water to make a wet mash and feed it, without providing additional drinking water.

Guinea pigs cannot synthesize vitamin C on their own. A deficiency of vitamin C will lead to reduced reproduction, hair loss, slow growth, frequent illness, and other conditions. Therefore, vitamin C must be added to guinea pig feed.
