(Taiwan Business News) The Nan Ying Commercial Vocational High School hospitality and tourism cluster's "Nanying Treasures, Tainan Fragrance" graduation achievement exhibition is being held from now until June 13 in the second-floor atrium of the Yonghua Municipal Center of the Tainan City Government. Tainan Mayor Lai Ching-te visited on the 10th and praised the school's culinary and tourism science students for incorporating local ingredients and characteristics and giving play to their creativity; in addition to offering blessings to the graduating students, he also recommended the city government's "Dual-Track Flagship Program" to the students, welcoming them to join so they can balance study and employment and avoid a skills-application gap.

The Nan Ying Commercial Vocational High School hospitality and tourism cluster exhibition is curated by the Department of Restaurant Management and the Department of Tourism Business. On site, baked products made with various local Tainan ingredients are displayed, including creative baked goods featuring Jiangjun carrots, Xinhua sweet potatoes, Yanshui tomatoes, Xiaying mulberries, Guanmiao pineapples, Yujing mangoes, and Dongshan longans and coffee, as well as dough sculpture and fruit carving, along with itinerary planning such as "local culture," "tourism factories," and "Tainan agricultural products."

Tainan Mayor Lai Ching-te pointed out that Nan Ying Commercial Vocational High School not only has outstanding achievements in baseball but also outstanding performance in hospitality and tourism. This exhibition presents creative cuisine based mainly on local Tainan ingredients and cultural, historical, and sightseeing travel route planning, which is consistent with the city government's concept of building Tainan into a "tourism paradise." He looks forward to young students continuing to devote themselves to working together for Tainan's tourism.

Tainan Mayor Lai Ching-te stated that in order to avoid a skills-application gap and the situation of graduating into unemployment, the city government is cooperating with the Council of Labor Affairs and seven universities and colleges in Tainan to launch the "Dual-Track Flagship Program," which offers graduates the chance to study while working, enjoy pay of more than half the basic wage plus labor insurance and national health insurance, and have the opportunity to remain with the company after graduation. There are more than 700 places this year, and students are welcome to participate enthusiastically.
