What are the feeding precautions during the emergency period for bamboo rats?

Rice

Use fresh early rice. Nowadays the rice in some rice shops has been processed with preservatives added, or is processed from old paddy rice and has already lost its nutrients. It is best to use freshly milled early rice.

Rice bran

Use bran milled from the rice husks left over from freshly milled rice. Nowadays some unscrupulous traders use bran milled from moldy paddy rice, which is very harmful. The shelf life of bran is about 10 days; after 10 days it has a pungent smell and can no longer be used.

Wheat bran

Do not use during the emergency period for bamboo rats.

Electrolyte multivitamins

Control the dosage. A large amount will cause soft stools.

Corn

For corn from the current year, check whether there are black spots or mold. Corn from previous years has mostly had insecticide applied, so it must be washed before use.

Other foods should also be observed more carefully; do not feed moldy or spoiled food. It is best to use the same food types as the original farm's feeding method.
