The rose (Rosa chinensis) has a relatively compact plant shape, dark green and glossy leaves, and blooms with rather brilliant flowers in a wide range of colors. It closely resembles the rose, and is called the "Queen of Flowers". But when growing roses in summer, black rot appears very easily, so how should the black rot of roses be dealt with? Here is an introduction for everyone.

Causes of black rot

Summer temperatures are relatively high. If the environment where the rose is located is relatively humid or shows signs of water accumulation, it is very easy for bacteria to breed on the rose, which will cause the rose to get black rot.

Solutions

If the rose has already developed black rot, then we need to prune off the branches with black rot, and then also completely clear away all the fallen leaves in the pot. This can prevent it from spreading to other normal branches. Then mix the fungicide with some clean water, pour it into a spray bottle, and then spray it onto the rose. Be sure to spray the rose carefully, otherwise the fungus may infect it again.

Change the environment

After spraying the medicine, it is necessary to change the growing environment of the rose a bit. Be sure to avoid growing it in a stuffy and humid environment. When watering, it is best not to water in the evening; try to water in the morning. Then regularly clean the rose; things like the fallen leaves of the rose must be cleared away, otherwise bacteria can easily breed and infect the rose.

Properly prune the branches

When caring for roses normally, if the rose grows too luxuriantly, you must be willing to prune it. Otherwise, the rose's branches will be too dense, which will make the rose completely unventilated. This may breed bacteria, and it also cannot carry out photosynthesis well, which is not conducive to the growth of the rose.
