Ju Tzong-ching Percussion Group Strikes Up a Charity Movement

(Taiwan Business News) The Hsinchu County Tutoring Education Association and the Hsinchu County Tutoring Teaching Staff Vocational Union will host the "Dearly Striking the Movement of Love Concert" on 7/5 (Sat) 19:30, inviting the Yueh Dong Percussion Group of the Ju Tzong-ching Percussion Group to perform, with all ticket proceeds donated to the Genesis Foundation for building construction funds.
To encourage charity by taking the lead, Hsinchu County Tutoring Association Chairman Tsai Shih-sung and Tutoring Staff Vocational Union Chairman Chen Jung-chang invited the Yueh Dong Percussion Group to the Hsinchu County Government Cultural Affairs Bureau at 11 a.m. on the 18th to perform the classic piece "Dream Train," which was once performed at the presidential inauguration ceremony, hoping to convey love and vitality through music and call on companies and businesses to offer one act of love with two benefits, sponsoring tickets for disadvantaged groups while also helping impoverished people in a vegetative state.
In addition to the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau providing the performance hall venue free of charge, the Tutoring Association and the Tutoring Union were the first two units to each sponsor 100 tickets, presented to family members of people in a vegetative state and accepted on their behalf by Chen Lu-jung, director of the Genesis Hsinchu Branch; County Councilor Lin Pao-kuang, who came to express his support, also purchased 10 tickets on the spot. Deputy County Magistrate Chang Jen-hsiang pointed out that summer vacation is the peak period for all kinds of arts and cultural activities, and to let children cultivate their body and mind, parents spare no effort in arranging suitable performances for their children to take part in; enjoying the performance of the world-renowned Ju Tzong-ching Percussion Group while also doing charity can be said to serve two purposes at once.
For the charity concert, first-floor tickets are a charity donation of 800, and second-floor tickets are a charity donation of 300; currently only 30 percent of tickets have been sold. All sectors of society are hoped to join in the good cause.
