When growing flowers, spreading a few-cent worth of waste into the flower pot turns out to be a real treasure

Nowadays people's lives have improved, and all kinds of high-tech products keep emerging. When going out, you only need to bring your phone and keys, and nothing else is necessary. Take Yatou for example: reading news and chatting about gossip are all done on the phone. But Yatou's mom is still in the era of reading newspapers. The stacks of newspapers at home do not sell for much money, but saving a few issues of newspapers for growing flowers is definitely a real treasure!
Newspaper flower pots
When everyone grows seedlings on their own balcony, they always buy seedling pots online, or collect various pots and containers from home, but none of that is as simple as a newspaper.
Find a plastic bottle, a newspaper, and a stapler, and it is done in just a few steps:
Fold an A4-sized newspaper in half; you can decide the thickness yourself, but generally folding it 3 times is enough. Then wrap it along the plastic bottle so that it forms a cylinder. Then use the stapler to seal all sides shut. If you are worried it is not firm enough, you can wrap a ring of tape around the bottom and the sides.
Enhance fertility
Yatou saw this claim online: lay newspaper on the surface of the soil and spray water every day. As the newspaper gradually dissolves, it can increase the soil's fertility and increase the humus in the soil.
Sunscreen and moisture retention
Suitable for garden plants. Yatou had this experience as a child: going with her mom to the vegetable garden to plant vegetables, digging holes and burying soil, watering, and then covering it with a layer of old newspaper. A few days later, when the newspaper was lifted, many emerald green seedlings had grown. At the time, she was very surprised why, wondering whether the newspaper contained some special substance. Now she understands: newspaper can very well provide sun protection and moisture retention, especially for newly sown flowers, grasses, and vegetables.
