What are the precautions for pesticide use in summer

Fellow growers, because summer brings high temperatures and frequent rain, it is a season of high incidence of crop pests and diseases. In order to improve the effectiveness of pesticides and personal safety, we hope farmers will pay attention to the following points when using pesticides:
1. Add an adhesive to liquid and wettable powder pesticides. Because liquid and wettable powder pesticides have poor adhesion, when preparing pesticides, add 100-150 grams of washing powder or soybean powder as an adhesive to every 100 kg of spray solution; this can improve the effectiveness of the pesticide.
2. Avoid applying pesticides under the blazing sun or on rainy days. The best time to apply is from 8-10 am and after 5 pm. If the wind is relatively strong, stop applying the pesticide, otherwise the application will be uneven and it can easily cause phytotoxicity.
3. Choose pesticides with strong systemic action. Such as dimethoate, metalaxyl, and sumicidin; because 4-5 hours after application, more than 80% of the active ingredient of these pesticides can be absorbed into the internal tissues of the crop, so even if it rains, pests and pathogens can still be killed.
4. Use clear river water to dilute pesticides. Because well water generally contains more minerals and sewage contains many impurities, it is best to use clear river water to dilute pesticides.
5. Workers should not wear synthetic fiber clothing when spraying pesticides. When spraying pesticides in summer, cotton clothing is preferable, and protective items such as masks and gloves should be worn properly.
