Wearable Devices Launch En Masse, Grabbing Exposure at CES
In 2014, wearable devices exploded, with major manufacturers rolling out smartwatches and smart wristbands to capture the market, and at this year's CES, wearable devices remained a major focus. Besides smart wristbands with upgraded functions, the products were even more diverse, including a smart belt that can help users control their waistline, and a smart headband that helps people relax.
CES is about to open, with an estimated more than 3,600 exhibitors and more than 150,000 visitors, a larger scale than before. Analysts pointed out that as the US economy has clearly warmed up, the exhibition's themes, scale and visitor numbers are all expected to grow substantially.
