Ministry of Economic Affairs 'Taiwan Good Food Festival - Tasty Gifts Carnival' Four Major Events Invite the Public to Celebrate the Holiday

The Ministry of Economic Affairs is holding the 'Taiwan Good Food Festival - Tasty Gifts Carnival' trade show, the only session in southern Taiwan, hosted by Taiwan Sugar Corporation at the Taiwan Sugar Carnival Shopping Center. The three-day event runs from 1/23 (Fri) to 1/25 (Sun), featuring carefully selected specialty vendors from southern Taiwan and quality manufacturers from Tainan, along with many promotional offers tied to the event. Southern residents are welcome to come grab great deals, and the event is expected to draw tens of thousands of visitors.

The 'Taiwan Good Food Festival' southern trade show brings together local ingredients and products that highlight southern characteristics. The exhibition area is divided into four major zones: the Taiwan Good Food Health Value-Added Zone, the Exquisite Cuisine Zone, the Happiness Overflowing Zone, and the Delicacy Appreciation Zone, echoing the Ministry of Economic Affairs Good Food Festival's theme of "great to stroll, great to eat, great to play, great to buy, great deals." A total of 62 quality vendors are invited, including local specialty products, farmers' association production and marketing groups, public welfare organizations, and local delicacies.

At 2 PM on the first day of the event, 23rd (Fri), the opening ceremony specially invites the "National Drum Art Heritage Champion" - Tainan's local eco-school, Hushan Elementary School's drum corps, to perform "Drums Resound to the Sky, Good Food Takes the Stage," kicking off the event's climax. Immediately following, the opening ceremony, in conjunction with the Five-Heart Food Safety Declaration, has attending dignitaries take the stage to advocate for guaranteed food safety quality. Over the three days of the event, there are rich and exciting activities planned, including a "Challenge Game," "Prize Quiz" to educate the public on correct food safety consumption concepts, and special group performances, making it very suitable for a family holiday outing.

In addition to displaying holiday gift boxes, edible oils, Korean red ginseng clam essence, meat floss, pork jerky, and beauty care products, the host Taiwan Sugar Corporation has specially prepared grilled Taiwan Sugar pork sausages and other safe and healthy food promotions.
