Photo Age-Guessing Website Is All the Rage

Photo Age-Guessing Website Draws 30,000 Testers

Recently a photo age-guessing website has emerged, where people can simply upload a photo and it will analyze the age and gender of the person in the picture. Within hours of its launch, the photo age-guessing website attracted over 30,000 testers. But is this software accurate in its results?

A photo age-guessing app is going viral online. Just upload a photo and it will instantly determine the age. Both adults and children love playing with it, and its popularity may flood your Facebook feed! This app identifies age through a total of 27 points, including the corners of the eyes, the nose, the mouth and the number of wrinkles. However, many people find the results so far off that they don't know whether to laugh or cry!

Click on a photo and it instantly reads the age of the person in it. The family portrait example seems quite accurate. Try it with your own photo: this one with makeup is judged to be 24 years old, a different photo in a suit comes out as 23, and if you upload a no-makeup photo, the same person suddenly becomes 18.

After using it, many people say the ages it guesses generally come out on the young side, and it has been jokingly called a "super therapeutic" app.
