2015 Tainan International Tourism Expo Experience the leisurely summer journey of Tainan

The "2015 Tainan International Tourism Expo," organized by Jishitong International Enterprise Co., Ltd., opened grandly on May 8 at the Tainan Nangang World Trade Exhibition Hall. In order to strengthen Tainan's local characteristics, raise the city's exposure and visibility, and build a friendly tourism city image, the Tainan City Government Tourism Bureau specially set up the Tainan Pavilion, participating under the theme "Tainan is a great place - a leisurely summer journey." The scene was very lively!

Tainan City Deputy Mayor Yen stated that tourists visiting Tainan reach 13 million visits, with 3 million overnight stays. Now, in addition to direct flights from Tainan to Hong Kong, China, direct flights from Tainan to Osaka will also be launched afterward, making it more convenient for everyone to travel to Tainan and greatly helping Tainan's city marketing.

Director Wang Shih-ssu of the Tainan City Government Tourism Bureau stated that he also hopes everyone can become tourism ambassadors for Tainan, jointly promoting Tainan's tourism and further boosting local industry development. Through the direct flights to Hong Kong, China, Tainan's tourism will also become more internationalized, allowing tourists from all over the world to feel Tainan's charm.

This time, the Tainan Pavilion at the "2015 Tainan International Tourism Expo" integrates Tainan's summer and coastal tourism resources, paired with the internationally rare and protected black-faced spoonbill, as well as the natural ecological elements of Tainan's city bird, the "pheasant-tailed jacana," known as the "wave-treading fairy," to present Tainan's natural ecology. On the other hand, combined with the garden city characteristics between May and June each year, it presents the imagery of elegant lotuses, fiery red phoenix flowers stretching along the branches, and golden shower trees whose petals fall profusely like golden rain when the breeze blows. In the season when phoenix flowers bloom and graduation takes place, it paves a brilliant golden future for students and adds even more elegance and flavor. This shows that Tainan is not only a cultural capital but also a flower city. When weaving among flowers and trees, it attracts people to slow down and savor the leisurely time of slow living, feeling the deep happiness and romance of summer.

In addition, the Tainan Pavilion at the "2015 Tainan International Tourism Expo" also displays many distinctive metal creative works from the Taiwan Metal Creation Museum, such as the Yongkang Zhuluo Tree Frog Band, carved phone stands, music boxes, and more. The Taiwan Metal Creation Museum combines the professional technology of sheet metal processing with Tainan's characteristics and cultural creativity, leading people to experience the soft side of metal.
