Yilan County Environmental Protection Bureau welcomes everyone to actively use electric vehicles for transportation
After continuing its subsidy of 1,500 yuan this year for scrapping two-stroke motorcycles, the Yilan County Environmental Protection Bureau has now added a subsidy of 1,000 yuan per vehicle for the public to scrap old four-stroke motorcycles, and starting today, for newly purchased electric power-assisted bicycles and electric bicycles, an additional subsidy of 1,500 yuan per vehicle will be provided. For newly purchased electric motorcycles, in addition to an additional subsidy of 8,000 yuan per vehicle, if a two-stroke motorcycle is first scrapped before purchasing an electric motorcycle, an additional 3,000 yuan subsidy can be obtained. The public is welcome to apply directly to the bureau. After review and approval by the bureau, the subsidy can be obtained. The subsidy program ends on November 30, 104th year of the Republic of China. Subsidy funds are limited, and if the funds are exhausted, the program will end early. The public is asked to seize the opportunity so as not to miss out.
