Don't believe those folk remedies; these are the real nemesis of formaldehyde, and with the right use you can move into your new home very soon!

Many people, whenever formaldehyde is mentioned, cannot help but feel disgust, because it is well known that formaldehyde is something extremely unfriendly to the human body and health. Many people are deeply troubled by the presence of formaldehyde while renovating, testing its concentration at all times, and they truly detest formaldehyde. In fact, as long as you have the right methods for reducing formaldehyde, dealing with it quickly is not really difficult.

There are many methods online that people can use, and one long-circulated method for removing formaldehyde is to use onions. But is this onion method for removing formaldehyde actually feasible? After doing many experiments, we denied the practical feasibility of removing formaldehyde with onions, and the widely circulated online claim that using onions to remove formaldehyde lets you move in after only 20 days also cannot be trusted to a certain extent. When using cut onions to eliminate formaldehyde, we can quite clearly feel that the pungent smell of onions mixed with the smell produced by formaldehyde not only fails to eliminate formaldehyde, but instead becomes more and more unpleasant. This method, which has no scientific basis, is obviously not feasible.

Of course, besides the so-called method of eliminating formaldehyde with onions, there are also so-called methods of eliminating formaldehyde with just a few basins of water, and this method is of course not very scientific either. After consulting the advice of relevant experts, we learned that formaldehyde actually floats in the air, somewhat similar to smog, and the method of using a few basins of water cannot fully come into contact with formaldehyde. The proportion of formaldehyde fully dissolved in water is also quite low, so this method of removing formaldehyde with just a few basins of water is obviously impossible to achieve.

Some people also believe that tea leaves are a good thing for removing formaldehyde. In fact, tea leaves themselves have a certain amount of pores, and many people think that tea leaves with pores can naturally adsorb formaldehyde. In reality, tea leaves have very few pores of their own, and they are very uneven. Under such innate conditions, wanting to use the pores of tea leaves to eliminate formaldehyde becomes a low-probability event that is almost impossible to find. So using tea leaves to eliminate formaldehyde is also unrealistic.

But what exactly is formaldehyde's nemesis? A well-known method is to increase the interaction between formaldehyde and air. This method is indeed quite effective, but under various uncertain weather conditions, this seemingly highly efficient removal method actually only treats the surface. Once a room is in a sealed state, the annoying formaldehyde will rebound again. So while using the method of circulating air, it is also recommended that everyone use some other removal methods.

For example, a composite mineral called Maisen Magic Ball is a good material for eliminating formaldehyde. This material exists specifically for treating air pollution. This substance itself has good adsorption properties, and while absorbing formaldehyde, its saturation point is also quite difficult to reach, so it can be used continuously for at least three years.

Of course, while eliminating formaldehyde, we inevitably need to understand what exactly formaldehyde is. First, formaldehyde is a colorless and odorless gas, with a very strong irritating effect on the human body, and it easily dissolves in acetaldehyde. Moreover, formaldehyde is an extremely strong carcinogen, and exceeding the formaldehyde limit can very easily induce leukemia and a series of other incurable serious diseases. In general, the actual manifestations of formaldehyde poisoning mostly appear on the skin, such as skin itching, congestion, the appearance of rubella, and even more severe cases such as tearing, decreased vision, coughing, chest tightness, general weakness, dizziness, and other serious problems.

Formaldehyde poisoning must be taken seriously, because formaldehyde can also trigger symptoms of the nervous system, such as muscle cramps, palpitations, persistent headaches, and similar symptoms. Therefore, when dealing with the removal of formaldehyde, one must not be negligent. Through the solutions above, the concentration of formaldehyde can be effectively reduced.

Does anyone have better ways to remove formaldehyde?
