"New Taipei City Commercial District Designer Action - Flagship Store Selection Program" injects NT$100,000 into businesses for makeovers

A popular commercial district must have stories and the appeal of popular shops to give visitors a deeply satisfying experience. In order to discover and transform distinctive shops in commercial districts, the Economic Development Department of New Taipei City Government has launched the "New Taipei Commercial District Designer Action - Flagship Store Selection Program," inviting shops in commercial districts that are willing to transform their storefront features to join in. Through business training courses and counseling selection, they will have the chance to receive NT$100,000 in makeover expenses and become commercial district story shops with distinctive cultural connotations. An information session and shop business training course will be held on July 20. Commercial district businesses in New Taipei City are welcome to sign up enthusiastically!

Ye Huiqing, Director-General of the Economic Development Department of New Taipei City Government, said that the New Taipei Commercial District Designer Action - Flagship Store Selection Program selects five commercial district flagship stores through a three-stage process of "training program, proposal competition, counseling implementation," injecting NT$100,000 into each, assisting businesses with makeovers of their "storefront image," integrating the stories of the commercial district and shops into their business premises, and transforming them into "story houses" representing the characteristics of the commercial district, in order to actively strengthen the brand features of New Taipei City's commercial districts, so that New Taipei City's commercial districts and shops can move consumers most deeply from the inside out.

The Economic Development Department of New Taipei City said that on July 20, an information session and training course will be held on the 15th floor of the Second Building of the Banqiao District Farmers' Association, Banqiao Farmers' Association, inviting flagship stores from various commercial districts to share their secrets of success. Commercial district shop owners are welcome to sign up enthusiastically. The Economic Development Department of New Taipei City added that this year's "New Taipei Commercial District Designer Action" combines commercial district organization management, shop business management, and potential commercial district newcomer training, providing diverse and composite cultivation courses for commercial districts. A professional consultant team counsels commercial district organizations and businesses, discovers the distinctive DNA genes of commercial districts, and assists in transforming them into commercial niches. Through learning, observation, funding injection, and other aspects, it consolidates consensus in commercial districts, invites expanded participation by local shops, and jointly transforms New Taipei's commercial districts.
