2015 Tianjin Taiwan Famous Products Expo: Taiwan Printing Art Pavilion Achieves Great Success

The "2015 Tianjin Taiwan Famous Products Expo," organized by the International Trade Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, concluded successfully on July 5 at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center, generating a total of NT$14.7 billion in business opportunities and attracting 405,000 visitors; during the exhibition, it also set the record of 10 million cumulative visitors since the "Taiwan Famous Products Expo" began.

At the 2015 Tianjin Taiwan Famous Products Expo, a themed image pavilion, the "Taiwan Printing Art Pavilion," was specially planned to promote the excellent quality and technology of Taiwan's printing industry. A total of thirteen outstanding Taiwanese printing companies exhibited together with the Printing Technology Research Institute, including high-quality businesses such as Max Design, Moka Enterprise, Shunji International, Huiying Enterprise, Dongxing Paper Products, Chengqi Interactive Information, Chongyu International Marketing, Sijizhi Enterprise, Aurora Group 3D Business Division, Baijia Culture, Kangcheng Industrial, Xingtai Color Printing and Lisheng Color Printing, showcasing Taiwan's printing industry products and services on site.

During the four-day exhibition period of the 2015 Tianjin Taiwan Famous Products Expo, many professional buyers visited the pavilion to inquire about cooperation. For example, "Moka Enterprise," which focuses on producing lottery scratch cards, peel-off cards and bingo cards paired with a cloud-based number-checking system, had a large local printing company in Tianjin seeking technology transfer; the multiple waterproof, durable and tear-resistant eco-friendly printed toys exhibited by "Shunji International" were considered by local book distributors to be promotable to local educational institutions to cultivate schoolchildren's logical concepts and inspire organizational skills, resulting in an order for 10,000 sample units; the "Aurora Group 3D Business Division" showcased Taiwan-developed and Taiwan-manufactured 3D printers on site, attracting inquiries from quite a few new entrepreneurs and micro studios; the high-fidelity reproduction paintings exhibited by "Xingtai Color Printing" were planned to be introduced and represented by a century-old bookstore in mainland China.

Taiwan's printing can be described as high-end, impressive and classy, with advanced cold foil and embossing printing technology, a large printing database accumulated over decades, and the use of top-grade printing paper, ink and other raw materials; its high-quality printing services have successively won orders and trust from countries and regions such as mainland China, South Korea, Japan and Australia. In recent years, printing businesses have also actively combined across domains with technology and cultural creativity, breaking through frameworks to create many exquisite products, and actively expanding outward, continuously promoting Taiwan's unique printing services around the world, marketing the excellent impression of printing in Taiwan globally, and opening a new chapter for Taiwan's printing industry.
