Detailed Explanation of the Key Technical Points for Bagging Pear Fruit

To reduce pest and disease damage to pear fruit, reduce pesticide contamination, and improve the appearance quality of the fruit, bagging pear fruit is very important. When bagging pear fruit, we should pay attention to the following seven points:
1. Throughout the entire bagging process, do not touch the young fruit with your hands, to prevent man-made damage to the fruit skin.
2. Tie the bag appropriately tight, do not use excessive force, to prevent breaking the fruit stalk, or tying the binding wire too tightly and affecting fruit growth, or tying too loosely and causing the fruit to drop when the wind blows.
3. The bag opening must not be tied into a trumpet shape, to prevent rainwater, liquid medicine from flowing in or pests and diseases from entering the bag, and do not bag leaves inside the bag either.
4. When bagging, the ventilation and drainage opening should be opened, and the fruit must be positioned in the middle of the bag.
5. If it rains during the bagging period, or if bagging is not completed within 5 days after spraying, spray the pesticide carefully again.
6. Do not bag when the dew has not dried or the liquid medicine has not dried, otherwise black spots and fruit russeting are likely to appear on the fruit surface.
7. For bagging, choose trees in the full bearing period with moderate vigor; do not choose old and weak trees, excessively vigorous trees, pest- and disease-affected trees, trees in windy openings, or stunted old trees.
