Since 2010, the EPA has held five sessions of the "Soil and Groundwater Pollution Remediation Seed Talent Training Camp," and nearly 430 trainees have been trained since its inception. Over the past five years, responses from all sectors have been enthusiastic, and after graduation, trainees have devoted themselves to soil and groundwater pollution remediation work. Because soil and groundwater pollution investigation and remediation work has a high professional threshold, and in order to enable young students to seamlessly connect with industry, the EPA holds a training camp every year, providing courses in various fields of professional and innovative technology, while also strengthening industry-academia cooperation and expanding the cultivation of soil and groundwater professionals.

Taking into account differences among trainees in academic knowledge, year of study, and urgency of employment, this year's "Soil and Groundwater Pollution Remediation Seed Talent Training Camp" was specially divided into an advanced class and a beginner class, with courses arranged at different levels of depth. A total of 160 students from 24 universities and colleges participated in this year's camp. Through course learning, on-site visits, and challenge activities, the camp increased learning impressions, stimulated trainees' interest in soil and groundwater pollution investigation and remediation, served as a guide for future course selection, and helped them prepare early for future employment.

Participating trainees said that joining this "Soil and Groundwater Pollution Remediation Seed Talent Training Camp" gave them a better understanding of soil and groundwater pollution remediation work. Unlike the knowledge learned in the classroom, actually handling pollution investigation tools left a deeper impression, and through the courses they understood that pollution investigation work needs to combine professional knowledge from various fields and accumulate practical experience. In the future, they will continue to learn related knowledge.

The EPA stated that trainees who participated in the entire program were all awarded completion certificates, and groups with outstanding learning results were given certificates of merit and medals. It also encouraged trainees to continue enriching their knowledge in the field of soil and groundwater pollution remediation, and expressed the hope that trainees will all become professional talents in our country's soil and groundwater field in the future.
