Sometimes when we are walking along the roadside or in a park, we see little flowers in full bloom, and even in the scorching summer heat they still bloom so lushly. So we cannot help but admire their tenacious vitality.

Sometimes when we then look at our own flowers, we feel a little sad. Actually, we can scatter a few seeds of these little flowers in our own open space or in an empty flower pot, and they will definitely grow very well. So today, Huahua presents several kinds of pretty and easy-to-grow little wildflowers!

1. Moss rose (Portulaca grandiflora)

Moss rose, as its name suggests, sunlight is an indispensable factor in its growth. Its flowers come in many colors, and the flower shape looks simple and small, yet our fondness for it is not one bit less. And the main thing is that it is really easy to grow, so you don't have to worry about keeping it alive, and you still get flowers to enjoy - truly killing several birds with one stone!

This flower is best planted on a balcony. After scattering the seeds, just water on time and it will sprout in less than a week. After sprouting, you can appropriately increase light and watering, and before long you can enjoy its colorful flowers.

There is another advantage to growing moss rose: you can skip the fertilizing step. As long as the soil stays airy and lets its roots grow smoothly, that is enough, though using some nutrient soil will give even better results!

2. Petunia (Petunia hybrida)

The most common plant we see along the roadside is the petunia, mainly planted in flower beds. Especially in the scorching summer, it still blooms without fear of the sun. If we grow it at home, it is also a lovely sight. More importantly, for people who are not good at growing flowers, it is a savior.

Growing petunias is also very simple. Generally there are seeds and seedlings; relatively speaking, planting small seedlings is a bit simpler. After buying them, try to pot them up in the evening. Then water once thoroughly. Petunias love water very much, so we should keep the soil moist and can spray water on them often. As long as the soil stays airy and the environment is well ventilated, you don't need to worry about root rot.

If you use seeds, the survival rate is also very high, it just takes a bit longer to wait. Before planting, we should first pre-sprout them, which also conveniently lets us check their germination rate, so that after planting they can grow faster. Otherwise, the ones you plant may very likely not sprout, and that is truly a waste of time and energy.

One more point: sunlight is essential, especially after flowering. Grown on a balcony, it really will bloom all over the pot! However, during the period when it is sprouting, you still need to control the light duration well, because small seedlings cannot withstand overly strong sunlight and may very likely just wilt away.

3. Coreopsis (Coreopsis grandiflora)

Every time I go to the park, I am drawn to a kind of small chrysanthemum. In the hot season, it is full of passion - small yellow flowers swaying in the wind. Seen from afar, this sea of yellow flowers is so beautiful that people praise it again and again!

This little flower is very nice to grow in a yard or on a balcony. Sunlight is indispensable to it, because its flower stems can naturally grow very tall, and if it is not allowed to get sunlight, its leggy growth will become even worse. So we should also prune it regularly, so that it looks more comfortable overall.
